Perfidy hitting about 450% armour and evasion, plus giving curse immunity, is exactly the kind of thing that lets casters stop feeling like wet paper without giving up all their damage nodes on the tree. Lightning Coil and Cloak of Flame getting their physical‑to‑elemental conversion roughly doubled to about 50% is the other big story. Once you start playing with that, a lot of older defensive ideas come back. A Stormweaver Druid wearing Lightning Coil, converting half the incoming phys to lightning, then scaling shock and elemental mitigation on top, ends up in that strange place where you are both tanky and aggressive. Cloak of Flame doing a similar job for fire builds means you do not have to rely only on flasks and random rare rolls to survive heavy hits. Chasing Rolls, Corruptions And The New Economy

The one catch is that these pieces are going to be pricey if you want top rolls, and the Vaal corruption changes make the gamble even spicier.
