For a long time, I wanted to go on the Sammed Shikharji Yatra. This place is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Jain people. It is located on the Parasnath hills in Jharkhand, India. Many Tirthankaras got moksha (liberation) here, and that is why this place holds so much respect and importance for Jain devotees. When I finally got the chance to go on this yatra, I felt very happy and thankful.

How I Planned My Trip

What I Felt During the Yatra

Standing at the top of Parasnath hill, looking at the view around, gave me a feeling that is hard to explain in words. There is a deep sense of peace and spirituality at this place. Knowing that so many great souls achieved liberation here makes the whole experience very emotional.

I also met many other pilgrims during the yatra, some old, some young, some doing this yatra for the first time like me, and some who come every year. Talking to them and hearing their experiences made my own yatra more meaningful.
