Every harness undergoes comprehensive electrical testing to verify continuity, insulation resistance, and absence of short circuits. High-voltage harnesses used in electric vehicles require additional testing, including partial discharge testing and high-potential dielectric validation. Manufacturers must maintain IATF 16949 certification and pass OEM-specific Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) reviews covering dimensional, material, and environmental-stress criteria. The automotive wiring harness market continues to evolve with automation and quality systems that ensure reliability for increasingly complex vehicle electrical architectures.
