u4gm How to Master Cursed Mode in Black Ops 7 Zombies Guide

Most players walk into Cursed Mode thinking it’ll feel like regular Zombies with a few twists, but you realise pretty quickly it’s a whole different beast once the UI disappears and the Relics kick in, and that’s when having something like CoD BO7 Boosting in mind starts to make sense because this mode punishes hesitation hard. The safest way to get your footing is to stick with one Relic per run. It sounds slow, but when you’re trying to track objectives without prompts and juggle the modifiers at the same time, going step by step keeps the chaos manageable and helps you actually finish a tier instead of wiping halfway through.

Finding a Better Early-Game Pace

You’ll notice early Essence disappears faster than you expect, so blowing it all on Pack-a-Punch upgrades is a mistake loads of players make. A smarter rhythm is grabbing that red canister and hunting the green flowers before things get rough. When you spray a flower, that short defence event gives you a chance at free gear, but it gets so much better if you drop a Toxic Growth right beside it. The rewards spike in value, and getting a PaP’d gun for free this early changes the whole feel of the run, because suddenly you’re not scraping together every bit of Essence just to survive the next wave.

Keeping the Team Moving

Once those Relics activate, everything starts stacking—fog, extra spawns, weird debuffs—and you don’t have time to debate what comes next. Everyone in your squad needs to know who’s grabbing the Gauntlet, who’s rotating for souls, and who’s clearing space. Without that, someone always ends up running loops while the rest of the team stands around guessing. And when Power Ups vanish after you clear the first tier, it gets even tighter. Ammo suddenly becomes a money sink, especially if you’re stubbornly relying on Wonder Weapons. Buying ammo for those things hurts, so keeping a standard gun upgraded with Pack Mule can save your run when your Essence starts bleeding away.

Survival Depends on What You Look At

Something players don’t talk about enough is how easy it is to get tunnel vision here. You get so focused on the train behind you that you miss the one zombie that spawns directly in your path, and that’s usually the one that ends the run. Keep the space in front of you clear first, even if it feels slower. You’ll move safer, and you’ll stop getting trapped between walls and the horde. When you combine that awareness with steady progress and the right prep, Cursed Mode feels less like a punishment and more like a tough challenge you can learn to control, especially if you’ve already looked into options like CoD BO7 Boosting for sale to smooth out the roughest parts of the grind.
